Howard Hudgins is an artist. His interpretation of classic blues, soul, rhythm and blues, and classic rock songs is unique and fun and reflects his rich musical heritage growing up in Music City, Nashville, Tennessee.

After years of playing in Nashville, Howard Hudgins and the Howard Hudgins Band has produced its first CD project entitled Howie and the Movers. Howard has an enviable history of being a backup musician for legendary recording artists such as Jerry Lee Lewis and Ricky Nelson. Howard’s band was the host and centerpiece for several years of the now famous Joe’s Village Inn jams. During the months of performing, the credits of the musicians that played in Howard’s band were phenomenal. His band members moonlighted with artists too numerous to list, which included talent as diverse as Dolly Parton, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, and Delbert McClinton. Every week at the jam was an event; today it is etched in Nashville musical memory.

In recent years, Howard has chosen to spend a large portion of his time nurturing the family business, Hudgins United Van Lines. Even with the enormous responsibilities of this business, Howard’s love for music has driven him to record his long-awaited CD. Howie and the Movers features many of the same musicians who have played in his band over the years, along with some new faces.

The Howard Hudgins Band is accepting a limited number of bookings including blues and rhythm and blues concerts, private parties, and corporate events. For bookings, call (615) 292-9192 or contact us by email: Bookings@HowardHudginsBand.com
